MineScout is an independent community resource for finding Minecraft servers, mods, seeds, and practical setup help.
Why it exists
Server directories are useful, but rankings, stale copy, and missing provenance make it hard to know what is current. MineScout keeps operator-researched records separate from clearly labelled public-directory records, shows live responses as temporary, and leaves unknown fields visibly unknown.
What it is not
MineScout is not a server operator, launcher, mod host, game studio, or large company. Listings are not partnerships or endorsements. The project does not sell ranking positions and does not claim a server is popular because a third-party list says so.
Independent by design
Official operator pages are preferred for maintained facts, while directory-sourced records identify their source explicitly. Modrinth and CurseForge retain their project pages and files. Image creators retain credit. Mojang Studios and Microsoft are not affiliated with this project.
